The Gulf States Quilting Association proudly presents the 21st Biennial GSQA Quilt Show at The Harbor Center in Slidell, LA. The event begins with three days of quilt judging followed by the public showing from Friday, June 26 through Saturday, June 27.

Enjoy a myriad of beautiful quilts that will be displayed, with ribbons and prizes awarded to the winning quilts.  Peruse the Merchants Mall that will include vendors from all over the US, including but not limited to scissor sharpening; sewing thread; fabric; woven baskets; etc. Visit the special exhibits and shop the Quilter's Craft Boutique with handmade creations by our talented GSQA members. 

Adult admission is $12 for one day and $15 for two day pass; admission for children under 12 is $5.

Food trucks/vendors available: Valerie's Snowballs (and jambalaya), Heart 2 Soul Food Truck, Ms Ts Momma Mia Food Truck, B and B Coffee Truck

    2026 Quilt Show Opportunity Quilt

    “Southern Jewel”

    Queen size: 90" x 108"

    Would you like to win this quilt? You can!! For only $2 per chance, you have an opportunity to own this fabulous quilt.

    The individual blocks were made by many members of Gulf States Quilting Association, and the best of the best were chosen. The quilt is an original design by the Opportunity Quilt Committee: members of the committee consisted of the following GSQA Members: Glenda Copeland (Chairperson), Candy Bergeron, Vernon Chee, Paula Mathews, and Therese Springer.  Quilting was done by Robben Hennessey Karr.

    This is truly a magnificent work of art!  If you would like a chance to win the quilt and will not be at the January/April GSQA meetings nor the quilt show, reach out to gulfstatesquiltingassociation@gmail.com for information on how to get your tickets.

    Charity Quilts Service Project

    Continuing in the tradition of service to the communities that support GSQA, all charity quilts collected will be distributed to the first responder groups identified in all four states.

    Rosebud Luncheon 2026

    Our Rosebud Luncheon will again take place at the lovely Pinewood Plantation, a Country Club in Slidell, LA. The venue offers lots of parking close to a covered entrance.  

    When: Saturday, June 20, 2026

    Cost: $35 (includes a buffet style lunch; cash bar)

    Ticket purchases open on January 26, 2026

    Quilt Intake for the 2026 Quilt Show will be available before the Rosebud Luncheon from 9am – 12pm.   

    We will also have our Gift Basket Raffle once again!  Previews of the Rosebud baskets for the raffle will be posted beginning in May 2026.
