GSQA Events

GSQA sponsors community service endeavors through quilting shows, seminars, workshops, lectures and retreats. You can find out more about upcoming events including quarterly meetings, classes, and retreats below. 

General Membership Quarterly Meetings

The General Membership Quarterly Meetings are traditionally held in January, April, July, and October and are a fun gathering of members.  These meetings are hosted by Affiliated Guilds and typically include:

  • A class or classes held on the prior day(s) leading up to the meeting (separate registration)
  • Refreshments
  • Tables to purchase GSQA swag
  • Guild business agenda items
  • Previews of upcoming events
  • Door prizes
  • Lotto block and opportunity quilts
  • Guest lectures

Retreats

GSQA's retreat offerings are traditionally scheduled in the Spring and Fall seasons.  Join your fellow GSQA Member quilters for a weekend of sharing ideas, tips, and lots of quilting inspiration. Beginning and advanced quilters alike will enjoy the getaway.

Day Sewer - $180 (deposit=$90)

Double Occupancy Room - $350 per person (deposit=$175)

Single Occupancy Room - $430 per person(deposit=$215)

An Ironing Station & Cutting Station will be available.

IF YOU LIKE MUSIC, YOU MUST HAVE YOUR EARBUDS!

Bring your own rotary cutter and special rulers.
You are encouraged to bring your own personal iron & cutting mat for small pieces.
You are encouraged to bring your own Design Wall if you have one.
