Foundation Paper Piecing

Foundation paper piecing (FPP), or just paper piecing, is a popular technique for making quilt blocks by machine to create precise points and shapes. The fabric is sewn onto a printed paper foundation that is removed once the block is finished.

The free Scrappy Triangles blocks by Leila Gardunia are an easy introduction to the technique that gives you many options for a finished quilt. Please download a copy of the pattern for your library; I will bring printed copies.
