Charity Information: St. John UMC hosts a self-serve Shepherd's Market Pantry in coordination with the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank.  They serve 45 families each of the three days they are open during the week with a system that allows the families to choose the items that best suits their kitchen.  Clients are also served a hot meal when they attend the Pantry.  Volunteers staff the Pantry and prepare the meals.  Household cleaning and personal items are also provided. We would like to encourage GSQA members to bring non-perishable canned and boxed items to the General Meeting to donate to the Shepherd's Market Pantry.
